“Responsible, smart and sustainable” are guiding business principles for Natsuyo N. Lipschutz and a reflection of her work as the founder and managing principal of ASPIRE Intelligence, a sustainable branding and business consulting firm based in New York.

She helps ASPIRE’s clients strengthen their brands through strategic consulting in marketing intelligence, branding strategy, CSR, social cause marketing and business plan development. An accomplished wordsmith and experienced speaker, Natsuyo writes columns for major media outlets such as Nikkei BP Human Capital Online. In 2015, she also established Breakthrough Speaking, in which she assists Japanese global leaders enhance their public speaking skills.

Her resume also includes work as a consultant specializing in consumer goods marketing and business process engineering for McKinsey & Company, and practical experience as a sales and business development manager in the steel and pulp & paper departments of Itochu International.

Natsuyo earned an MBA from New York University’s Stern School of Business and a BA in cross-cultural communication in business from the Waseda University School of Commerce. As an undergraduate she attended Washington University in St. Louis as a full-scholarship exchange student. She is also a member of Toastmasters International and 2 time regional speech contest winner in New York, where she lives today.She has also spoken at a TEDxTalk event.
