You might say Noriko Ogami is reaching for the stars. One of the highlights of her 20-plus years of experience as a global consultant was training and coaching the multicultural crews for the U.S. space shuttle program for NASA.
As an internationally certified executive coach and consultant, Noriko specializes in executive leadership and team evolution. She has a sparkling record of change management, team collaboration, and goal achievement, which serves her well in preparing executives for their new leadership roles as well as C-suite leaders who yearn to expand their leadership to the next level.
A former director of global coaching services at Aperian Global, she has experience coaching executives from diverse cultural backgrounds in major multinational organizations. Her range of skills is also diverse and includes development at both leadership and staff training levels, as well as overall organizational development. She coaches individuals and partnerships to facilitate team management and evolution in multicultural environments and helps them build negotiation, presentation, assertiveness, emotional intelligence and conflict management skills. She also works with Center for Creative Leadership as their certified executive coach and adjunct faculty.
Noriko earned a BA in communication and conflict resolution from Notre Dame College in Kyoto and an MS from Boston University’s College of Communication. She also completed a program in Training & Human Resource Development and Organization Development at the University of California and is certified in various 360 degree assessment tools as well as leadership assessments such as MBTI®, FIRO-B®, Work Place Big Five, and The Leadership Circle (TLC). She is also a certified Situational Sales Negotiation Consultant, is an ICF/CTI Professional Executive Coach and a certified Organization and Relationship Systems Consultant.
