Our president, Takuo Matsumura, is passionate about making a positive impact on the world by sharing his expertise in project design and execution, better organizational development and advanced leadership.
He joined People Focus Consulting in 2003 and quickly established himself as a leader with the broad perspective and practical experience to deliver concrete solutions to the unique issues facing foreign-affiliated and Japanese firms in Japan and around the world. With deep expertise designing and executing organizational change initiatives, reorganization and reconstruction work for our clients, it’s not surprising that he became our president in 2012.
Takuo came to PFC with over 10 years of experience as a management consultant, notably as a senior consultant at Booz Allen Hamilton and in a similar capacity for the Tokyo office of the Gemini Consulting Group, where he specialized in training Japanese managers of major foreign-affiliated firms. His experience covers a diverse array of industries including chemicals, electronics, pharmaceuticals, construction, power generation, food, communications, computers and apparel.
He is a graduate of Yokohama National University with a BA in economics.
